Between Two Rivers Research and Education Center has been formed as a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the study of human consciousness and emerging technologies, including psychical, parapsychological, and paranormal research. It has been designated an official 501(c)(3) non-profit by the IRS. Its president, Debra Lynne Katz, PhD, is currently directing several research projects in collaboration with partner organizations. As the organization grows, future projects will be conducted under the Between Two Rivers banner from its home-based center, located between two rivers that flow into the Oregon Coast. This unique setting offers an inspiring environment for inquiry and discovery, in a region known for its natural beauty, wildlife, and deep cultural history as the former homeland of the Native Siuslaw people.

Several graduates of the International School of Clairvoyance are serving as research participants.
